Ride Rasmussen Style (RRS) was founded in 2009. We are backcountry riding instructors and American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE) avalanche educators, accredited by the American Avalanche Association (A3). They are permitted with the USFS in the Caribou-Targhee National Forest and guide in the Island Park, Idaho area. Ride Rasmussen Style is licensed, insured, and bonded. Their instructors and guides hold the highest level of training and are among the most professional personnel in the industry.
The founder, Bret Rasmussen—known as “The Professor”—is one of the pioneers of modern snowmobile riding techniques. He was the first to introduce these techniques to the public through snowmobile demonstrations and films such as Schooled and Back to Skool, both available on YouTube. Today, we continue to teach these proven techniques to hundreds of guests each year.
